Projenco Wins First ECI Consultancy in Tasmania

Tasmania’s Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER) is currently preparing two contracts for design services/works for the delivery of the Brighton Bypass Project, and the civil works for the proposed new Brighton Transport Hub, using an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) methodology. This is the first time ECI contracting has been used in Tasmania and DIER has engaged Projenco to coach and train departmental personnel and to facilitate the selection workshops.

After appointment of the successful contractor, Projenco will assist with implementation of the ECI arrangement. Projenco has developed an expertise in ECI projects and has now provided consulting advice and facilitation services for ECI arrangements in South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
